Libraries and other Collections

This section gathers the results of the undergraduate students term papers at the conclusion of the first course on research and methodology, given by Professor Margarida de Souza Neves.

This course, the first of five on history research methods and techniques offered by the undergraduate History program of PUC-Rio, is developed through history laboratory classes. In the last of these lab classes, after visiting libraries and archives and interviewing the librarians and archivists in charge, the students turn in a term paper on some of the book and document collections, with information of interest to researchers in history and other areas as well.

The works gathered here were done by students who entered the undergraduate history program of PUC-Rio between 1999 and 2006.
